IDB, BOLSA DE MADRID, SIGN MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING

Cooperation to modernize capital markets in Latin America and Caribbean

FORTALEZA, Brazil - Inter-American Development Bank President Enrique V. Iglesias and the president of the Bolsa of Madrid, Antonio Zoido Martínez, signed a memorandum of understanding in which the two institutions pledged to cooperate to modernize capital markets in Latin America and the Caribbean.

The two organization will consider joint projects for training professionals and supervisors, dissemination, research, planning and strategies.
Among the goals are the achievement of grater strengthen, liquidity, transparency, and expansion of the region’s capital markets.
