The workshop is a joint effort by the State and Civil Society
Division in the Department of Regional Operations 2 (RE2), the
Inter-American Initiative on Ethics, Social Capital and Development,
and the Learning Office of the IADB, with the cooperation of
the Country Division (RE2). Topics
on the agenda include: The current international debate on
social capital; How to construct social capital?; How to measure
social capital?; New development of indicators; Report on
concrete IDB projects for generation goals and indicators
of social capital and ethics that can improve overall project
effectiveness and sustainability.
