Corruption Prevention at the IDB

The Office of Institutional Integrity uses lessons learned from investigations and information from other internal and external sources to identify indicators of heightened integrity and related reputational risk in IDB Group-financed activities. On the basis of such information, the Office of Institutional Integrity recommends measures for the mitigation of such risks. The Office of Institutional Integrity also recommends improvements to IDB Group policies, procedures, and mechanisms related to integrity and reputational risks.

The Office of Institutional Integrity has developed several prevention tools to help identify integrity risks and recommend mitigation measures for IDB Group-financed activities.
