Outreach & Partnerships
The IDB offers exceptional opportunities for partnership in areas of high social impact, leveraging its unique financial strength as the largest source of development financing for Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC). As the partner of choice for addressing development challenges in the Region, the Bank can help provide greater visibility, efficiency and impact to your organization’s efforts through its convening power, close government relationships, specialized knowledge and vast network in 26 LAC countries.
The IDB has built a strong partnership with its non-regional member countries, most of which are donor countries and located in Asia and Europe. The IDB strives to further enhance the existing relationship as well as to develop new strategic alliances for both regions. For the opportunities in Asia and Europe, the IDB has offices in Tokyo and Paris to support your organization.
At the IDB, we believe that finding innovative, sustainable and effective approaches to combat poverty and promote sustainable growth requires the combined strengths of multiple actors. Our Office of Outreach and Partnerships (ORP) is a specialized channel to facilitate the interface of potential development partners with the IDB Group. More
