The IDB has built a strong partnership with its non-regional member countries, most of which are donor countries and located in Asia and Europe. The IDB strives to further enhance the existing relationship as well as to develop new strategic alliances for both regions. For the opportunities in Asia and Europe, the IDB has offices in Tokyo and Madrid to support your organization.

The Asia-LAC High Level Economic Policy Forum
The Asia-LAC High Level Economic Policy Forum was taken place in Tokyo on October 13, 2012. The major economic policy-makers from both regions participated to discuss strategic topics of this new South-South relationship with an audience of policy-makers, private sector leaders and economic experts.
