The Office of Outreach and Partnerships (ORP) operates as a single window to identify and develop successful partnerships, bringing together public and private sector organizations who seek to advance common social investment agendas.
The Office is charged with strengthening the Inter-American Development Bank’s dialogue and alliances with key partners for development, including donor governments, co-financing agencies, foundations, individual philanthropists and the private sector. ORP supports the identification and implementation of joint initiatives with relevant partners that enhance the IDB’s capabilities to fulfill its development mandate in Latin America and the Caribbean.
Through its Grants and Co-financing Management Unit (GCM), it promotes effective and efficient use of grants and co-financing resources. to:
- Ensure compliance with fiduciary obligations and donor-specific conditions associated with grant funds;
- Support strategic linkage of grant financing & country/regional strategies & programming;
- Contribute to improved monitoring, evaluation and reporting of development results achieved with grant financing;
- Provide critical inputs on the demand for grants and co-financing to help mobilize resources;
