Social Development Specialist for the IDB Gender and Diversity Division in Bolivia
Verónica Tejerina works as a Social Development Specialist for the Gender and Diversity Division (GDI) at the IDB country office in Bolivia. Her research, projects and work focuses on various topics about indigenous peoples and gender. She is author and coauthor of numerous articles about indigenous peoples and interculturallity.
She holds a PhD in International Development at Manchester University (England), a Master Degree in Management of Development at Turin University (Italy) and a Bachelor Degree in Business Management at Central Missouri State University (U.S.).
Before joining the Bank, she worked for Oxfam in England and Haiti in the human resources and diversity team and for UNICEF Bolivia as a Child Protection Officer (Indigenous Children).
