The IDB has released new Sector Guidelines for Education. These guidelines identify the poor and unequal learning outcomes as the Region’s main educational challenge, and proposes five priority areas for Bank’s involvement in the education sector in the next years:

2. 2. Improving the quality of teachers and learning environments
3. 3. Facilitating the transition from school to work
4. 4. Supporting the development of compensatory programs in education
5. 5. Promoting the measurement of learning outcomes
