The Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) evaluates, every three years, what 15-year-old students know and can do in science, reading, and mathematics. In PISA 2015, 72 countries and economies participated, 10 of them from Latin America and the Caribbean: Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Mexico, Peru, the Dominican Republic, Trinidad and Tobago, and Uruguay. These briefs summarize the performance of the region for the 2012 and 2015 editions.
