Why Evaluation

Since billions of dollars are spent on education programs each year in Latin America and the Caribbean, rigorous program research and evaluation need to continue in order to understand the actual impact of various interventions. The knowledge gained from evaluations is used in the design of future projects to ensure positive effects on student learning and allocate resources efficiently.
