IDB-DC Solidarity Program

Equipment Donations

One of the IDB-DC Solidarity Program's goals is to provide surplus equipment such as computers, furniture, used books and magazines, and other office equipment and supplies to partner community-based organizations throughout the Greater Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Area. As of today*, the Program has donated more than 25,000 items to its partner organizations. With these donations of surplus equipment, partner organizations have been able to equip their schoolrooms, computer labs and offices and offer free classes and training seminars to adults and children. Items are available on a first-come, first-served basis to organizations that have established partnerships with the IDB-DC Solidarity Program.
