RG-T1443 : Best Practices on the Application of Integrated Financial Management System
Project Description
For the achievement of the above mentioned objective, the project will consist in the preparation of 10 issue-briefs / best practices on international public sector accounting issues, such as: (a) single treasury accounts, (b) implementation process to adopt international public sector accounting standards (IPSAs), (c) anti-corruption initiatives.The above mentioned issue-briefs will be presented at a regional seminar for public accountants, to be held in Brasilia, on November 26-28, 2007. Also, and after the main event, the experts who presented the issue-briefs will participate in an ex-post technical brainstorming session with Bank staff.
