HA-L1029 : Fiscal Sustainability I
Project Description
The proposed Grant will provide quick resources to the Government¿s 2008-2009 Budget in a single tranche of US$25 million. The proposed operation is the first of a new programmatic series that will center on enhancing revenues, increase the efficiency and transparency of public sector spending and investment, and debt management. It draws upon the reforms, policies and activities supported under the first programmatic series that consisted of operations approved by the Bank in 2007 and 2008.. Within this framework, it focuses on policies and institutional aspects related to fiscal sustainability.
