On June 21 and 22, the External Advisory Group (GCE) held its first meeting with the participation of seven of its eight founding members. The GCE is an advisory body for MICI that provides pro-bono support of the process of institutional strengthening in the areas of access, transparency, effectiveness and generation of learning.
The meeting, the first since the establishment of the GCE, was to allow members to get to know each other and to have the opportunity to hear from MICI staff on how the office operates. The sessions were characterized by high levels of participation and exchange of ideas based on which the MICI staff generated a plan for next steps. Progress on the plan will be presented during the second session of the year, which will be held remotely in December.
In the web section dedicated to the GCE you can find information about each of the members for the 2017- 2019 term, the GCE’s operating procedures as well as the agenda and summary report of the first meeting.
