Information for firms interested in supplying goods, works or consulting services to Haiti through IDB operations.
Please note that procurement opportunities emerging from IDB-financed operations in Haiti will continue to be carried out in accordance with current policies and procedures, the Policies for the Procurement of Goods and Works Financed by the Inter-American Development Bank (GN-2349-9) and the Policies for the Selection and Contracting of Consultants Financed by the Inter-American Development Bank (GN-2350-9). Consistent with those policies, the IDB and Haiti have agreed to institute flexible processes and revised thresholds to ensure that executing agencies and IDB staff in Haiti can respond more quickly to the emergency needs of the Haitian people following the January 2010 earthquake. These supplementary, alternative provisions will remain in effect for a period to end no later than December 31, 2015. For additional information related to these alternate provisions, you may refer both to the above referenced policy documents as well as to the document Procurement Provisions for Haiti.
