Delivering Revolution: Partnership between governments and Civil Society to deliver results
Specialists from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) Group will meet on June 8th in Kingston, Jamaica, with civil society representatives from all Caribbean countries, to exchange experiences and share perspectives on the partnerships for delivering results, that governments and civil society bring together.
As part of an ongoing dialogue between the IDB Group and the Region, the VII Annual IDB-Caribbean Civil Society meeting will address topics related to major development challenges in the region, human capital, social innovation, productivity, climate change, and the importance of open data to inform policy making.
The IDB Group is composed of the Inter-American Development Bank, the Inter-American Investment Corporation (IIC) and the Multilateral Investment Fund (MIF). The IIC supports the private sector and state-owned enterprises through financing, advisory services and training, while the MIF promotes private sector growth through grants and investments, with an emphasis on microenterprise.
