Bosco Martí has served as Executive Director for Mexico and Dominican Republic at the Inter-American Development Bank, headquartered in Washington, D.C., since September of 2014. Before joining the Bank, he served as Assistant Secretary for International Affairs at the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit in Mexico. From 2010 to 2013 Mr. Martí worked as Financial Affairs Minister Counselor for Mexico at the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) in Paris. He also served as Assistant Secretary for the Interior at the Mexican Ministry of the Interior from 2009 to 2010. Between 2003 and 2009 he held several positions in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, including Director General for North America and Director General for the Mesoamerica Project. At the federal government, Mr. Martí has also worked in the Office of the Presidency and the Bank Savings Protection Institute. Before entering the public sector, he worked for DeRemate.com, Arthur Andersen and Merrill Lynch Mexico.
Mr. Martí holds a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City.
