Welcome to this website which covers the efforts of the
Inter-American Development Bank on CSR
throughout the Hemisphere. Our main project, the Inter-American
Conferences on CSR, is now entering its fifth edition. Information on
previous events, IDB projects on CSR and other organization's

We are now planning the VI
Inter-American Conference on CSR which will take place
in Cartagena de Indias on December 3-5, 2008, co-organized
with the National Association of Colombia ANDI. Please write

Proceedings for the V Inter-American Conference held in
Guatemala, Guatemala in 2007 will be available in May. |

The Inter-American Business Forum was
held in Guatemala City on March 17, 2007. This forum was part of the Official Seminars that took place during the
IDB Annual Meeting and was organized to promote dialogue and partnerships with business for development to help reduce the economic and social gap and provide opportunities to the majority of the population in Latin America and the
Caribbean suffering from poverty and inequality.
During the forum a broad range of topics was discussed, from business strategies for growth to the strategic importance of good jobs, technology and social and business partnerships to fight poverty.
