Attire
From April to November in Okinawa, people don so-called "Kariyushi wear." "Kariyushi wear" is an open-necked tropical shirt designed with original Okinawan motifs. Normally it can be worn not only at casual gatherings but also at official events. Lately it has become very popular to wear this type of shirt to the office. For the Annual Meeting, it is recommended that participants wear this lightweight clothing for the seminars and working sessions other than the Inaugural Session, where business attire is required.
