El Salvadors earthquakes affect
both rich and poor
 |
| Laborers
dig through the rubble of what once was a two-story house in the
neighborhood of Las Colinas in Santa Tecla, a suburb of San Salvador.
The Alfaros, the family that lived there, were not at home at the
time of the earthquake. More than 500 of their neighbors were killed
by the landslide that buried the community.
