II International Seminar "Social Capital, Ethics and Sustainable Development

The increasing inequality and poverty rates in Latin America over the last decades have created the need to develop partnerships between the State, the private sector and civil society in order to develop solutions for confronting the various socio-economic problems of the region.
Within this global context, the Federation of Industries of Minas Gerais, Ethos Institute, and the Inter-American Development Bank – through its Inter-American Initiative on Social Capital, Ethics and Development, and the Division of State and Civil Society of Region 1 – are organizing the II International Seminar “Social Capital, Ethics and Sustainable Development”. The objective of this event is to promote the debate and the application of social responsibility.
