Seminar description

Worldwide experience has demonstrated that the use of mobile telephony to provide financial services to the unbanked is effective and at the same time profitable for both mobile network operators (MNO) and financial institutions. In Latin America and the Caribbean, access to these services is still quite limited. This seminar aims to generate greater interest by MNOs, financial services providers, regulators and economic policy makers regarding the implementation of mobile finance services in the region. Speakers will include worldwide experts with extensive, hands-on experience and representatives from MNOs and banks that have successfully implemented such servoces in other parts of the world.
