Stronger commitment on co-financing
The European Investment Bank and the IDB have agreed to strengthen their cooperation and increase co-financing to support strategic development projects in Latin America and the Caribbean, particularly those that help mitigate the effects of climate change. The agreement was announced by both institutions at the V Summit of EU-LAC Heads of State and Government in Lima, Peru. > Read more

MIF releases new open source software
The IDB's Multilateral Investment Fund announced its first open source software release. The software, developed by FENALCO, Colombia's national retailers association, aims to improve the value chain for small retailers. > Read more

Call for proposals to facilitate remittances
Grants of up to $250,000 per project will be awarded to institutions participating in a call for proposals to promote remittance systems and investment channels. > Read more
